Bud…. Weis…. Hey, where is Er?!?!
On my way down to catch some photos of flowers and scenery, I saw these two frogs hanging out around a pond. These frogs are HUGE! I almost thought they were fake!
This next photo was taken with two shots. First, I snapped a quick shot of the scenery to keep the leaves and flowers from blurring. Next, I used a 10 stop ND filter to get a nice long flow of the waterfall and pond. I then blended them together in Photoshop.
I like close-ups of waterfalls, especially when there is nice texture like you see in the moss here.
Another waterfall shot. I wish the azalea had been blooming more.
I often forget to take detail shots when I’m shooting landscape scenes. I paused a moment to get a closeup of this delicate branch.
This is the biggest waterfall in Garvan Gardens. Again, I took two shots. One of the trees and shrubs with a quick shutter speed and another with my 10 stop ND filter.
This next shot was quite accidental. I was about to leave the park and as I walked by the azalea, I saw the waterfall in the background. I liked the composition so I took the time for another 2-shot blended photo. This one might be my favorite of the bunch.
Another detail shot on the way out of the park. Lots of color at the gardens right now!
