On my way to Mountain View to speak at a men’s retreat, I decided to stop in Heber Springs for some photos. There are a few waterfalls there and we’ve had plenty of rain.
First up, Bridal Veil Falls. There are actually two waterfalls here, but I only visited the first. As soon as I arrived, it began to snow which certainly added to the challenge. My fingers were frozen! Below is the first waterfall picture I’ve actually ever taken with me in it! Hooray for 20 second timers!
Next I traveled upstream a bit to find some beautiful cascades.
I loved this old log and the algae covered rocks in this photo.
Next I drove over to Collins Creek Cascade. All of these waterfalls are a easy as can be to find. Just a short hike from the parking spot.
I think the photo below might be my favorite of the bunch. The scene is a little busy, but I still love the clear water and moss-covered rocks.
